I approach painting as a field in constant transformation, where the transparency of the fabric and the accumulation of paint produce zones of density and dispersion.

I use oil and beeswax on linen, jute, cotton canvas, and lyocell-elastane, prepared with a transparent ground that preserves the color and texture of the fibers. The painting is made with a mixture of oil, turpentine, and beeswax, which gives body to the paint, reduces the gloss of the oil, and produces deeper colors and velvety surfaces.

The fabric is stretched and prepared directly on the wooden stretcher, integrating itself into the support. More transparent meshes, such as lyocell-elastane, act as membranes that diffuse light and allow the shape of the stretcher to be partially visible through the surface.

The orthogonal geometry of the support is tensioned by the weight of thick layers of paint in the lower regions and by the excess fabric from the stretched surface, which folds back along the sides of the painting, as if the surface were folding in on itself.
